Triangle Region VHF Net
Purpose
To train NC Freedom members in skills needed to use amateur radio to coordinate activities and handle message traffic.
In times of emergency, to coordinate activities and handle message traffic within the Triangle Region of NC Freedom.

This is (call sign). The NC Freedom net begins in one minute. All stations please stand by.

To check in please:
- call net control
- pause to listen for “doubling”
- if clear, give your call sign phonetically, followed by your name and location

If it is a short message, handle it right on frequency so others can hear how it is done.
If it a long message, have the sender and receiver move off frequency.
