We had 4 in attendance (illness prevented others from attending).  2 of the attendees were new; the first part of the meeting was giving them an overview of what the group had been working on.

The mission statement Google Document was updated to show the original version plus a couple of modified versions.

Initial contact with Year of Youth has been made and hopefully there will be more contact and work towards combining efforts.

The discussion focused mainly on the Cary KTM “mission statement” and the Action Item List submitted by one of the members.   The “homework” assignment for the group was to review the list and add information to it to start forming a complete Action Plan to achieve our goals stated in the “mission statement”

The Action Item List outline:

1. Align with other local conservative groups
2. Create an official consolidation
3. Identify the concerns and initiatives of local politicians / board members
4. Research the issues
5. Begin campaign for public awareness and political persuasion
